Those ACCatalyst readers lucky enough to be at the 2012 Assembly of confessing Congregations annual conference in Adelaide had a real feast. A Smörgåsbord in fact, where an array of tempting dishes invite you to eat more than you should. You will find two of the dishes in this ACCatalyst. Michael Raiter speaks up for the power of words in song, which he wants us to weigh very carefully. Peter Davis on the other hand is sceptical (in a postmodern way)on how well we can communicate with words and preaching.
