SEEDS FOR HARVESTING 9-25

 

Deut 33:27

"The eternal God is your refuge

and his everlasting arms are under you."

 

Although these words were spoken

thousands of years ago

they are very meaningful for us today. 

 

It is so true that we do need

a refuge, or hiding place, from evil.

 

I believe that God knows

when we will be under attack

and always “his everlasting arms are under you”.

 

We do not have to cry out in fear

for he never leaves us

nor forsakes us. 

 

We do not have to pray fervently

because his arms are under us.

 

 Where do we discover this refuge? 

It is through the name of Jesus. 

He said 'ask me for anything in my name

and I will do it’.

 

Are we weak and heavy laden,

cumbered with a load of care? 

 

The Triune God is our only refuge.
