Four National Speakers—equipping the church for the challenges of today.
1) Keith Garner ‘Responding to the Great Commission in a Post-Christian World’ Friday Rally.
Keith Garner is a gifted preacher who moved from the UK to Australia to become Superintendent of Wesley Mission, Sydney. He broadcasts regularly and hosts a weekly television program on Channel 9 and is sought after for social comment on a range of issues.
2) Deane Meatheringham ‘Regaining our Cutting Edge’ Thursday Night.
Deane is a teacher evangelist. In the past he has served as a parish minister and Executive Director for New Creation Teaching Ministry. Currently Deane is a Rural Resource Minister
working for the SA Synod.
3) Rob Yule 'As at the Beginning: The Book of Acts for Mission Today'. Friday Morning. He was a national adviser on the board of Presbyterian Renewal Ministries during a period that saw a dozen charismatic churches emerge as the flagship churches of the Presbyterian movement throughout New Zealand. He was Moderator of the Presbyterian Church (2000-2002), and is now the Senior Minister of Greyfriars Presbyterian Church in Auckland.
4) Marcia Riordan 'Respecting Life while Healing the Broken-hearted' Saturday Morning. Marcia is the Executive Officer for Respect Life Office within the Catholic Archdiocese of Melbourne. The Respect Life Office works to promote a New Culture of Life and Love for the Australian community where every person is welcomed, honoured and revered.
