Prepare Him Room

Let the unseen world,
Angels and all heavenly powers rejoice.
Let the created universe and all of nature sing.
Let everything that has breath and life
celebrate the coming of the King.

Drawn from eternity,
clothed in humanity,
His majesty comes,
a mystery made known.

Let every heart prepare Him room
who comes to heal and save.
To shatter the power of Herod,
to complete the dreams of seekers,
to fill the loneliness of shepherds.
He comes to humble the proud,
to bare the guilt of the condemned
by being condemned to a cross
to make broken hearts whole
by rising again.
Open the doors, remove the rails,
welcome His majesty in glory and splendour.
Let the sweetness of release
flow freely like honey.
Let the sounds of joy erupt and cascade.
Let wholeness bring healing through this King Jesus
who comes among us,
who comes among us even now.
