The steering committee is seeking to run Regional meetings across rural and urban areas to promote the work of ACC, encourage people and congregations to join, and help ACC members broaden their focus from sexuality in leadership to the promotion of the orthodox, reformed, and evangelical faith in the whole Uniting Church. We believe it is the loss of this faith that has made our church so quickly succumb to secular society’s prevailing sexual ethics and individualism.
Ultimately, our hope is that ACC Victoria will be a vibrant, joyful, spirit filled movement committed to the sharing the undiluted Gospel that grace and Truth are found in the Lord Jesus Christ.
Compared to other states our membership base is low, but there are several bright spots of great encouragement.
We have held a regional gathering at Kyabram and hope to hold at least 2 more prior to the National AGM in November. Our committee has been handling the logistics of this meeting over several months.
Gil Cann - Ministry Worker
We are also pleased to have Gil Cann in Victoria as an educational and mission resource worker. He is available to train elders and run missions. He is financed independently of the ACC by his work in Uniting Churches and other denominations here and interstate but he is able to represent and promote the work of ACC Victoria.
