SEEDS FOR HARVESTING 7-39

John 17:11
"You have given them back to me,
so they are my glory"

The priestly prayer of Jesus,
pulses with the heart-beat of the Father, Son,
the disciples, and us.
Its words fill us with the sense
of Jesus' glory in us.
"they are My glory,"

What glory is reflected in Jesus' words
"You have give them back to Me,"
Our life-beat begins and ends in Jesus
as He "sits on the right hand of God
interceding for us."

So often we allow that cycle to be broken
by the demands of our self-will and sin.
Yet Jesus never leaves us nor forsakes us.

Jesus fulfils that prophecy with His words
"they are my glory".

Have we ever stopped and considered that
Jesus can fill us with his glory?

What about these words
spoken by Jesus to the Father:
"You have given them back to me".

We never have been, nor will ever be,
separated from God's love,
and the protection of the triune God.
