The Path of Life

11th July 2010

SEEDS FOR HARVESTING 5/26

Ps 16:11
"Thou wilt make known to me the path of life;
in Thy presence is fullness of joy."

Do we feel uncomfortable in thinking of ourselves
as sheep and always being led by the Good Shepherd?.
Then we are missing out on the rich blessings
of God the great provider.

When we pray "make known to me the path of life"
it is not asking for God's guidance
for one need in our life,
but for whole of life from birth to death.
This guidance will give to us
"fullness of joy" which will result in "pleasures forever."

Why do we feel that we must
break up God's "fullness of joy"
into little pieces to answer a particular need?
The Living Bible says
"this poor man cried, and the Lord heard him,
and saved him out of all his troubles."
The richness of God's guidance and care
for us is a total package.

The wonder is that Jesus' care for us is complete.
He said "I will never leave you nor forsake you."
He is involved in guiding and caring for us
in our complete "path of life."

Our response should be that of the disciples
"Now we know that You know all things...
by this we believe that you came from God."
